The Vision

For the past several years, God has been calling His people to earnestly pray for revival and spiritual awakening. Many have responded to this call, and many more are continuing to do so. In every church across America, there appears to be a faithful number of intercessors God has raised up to pray earnestly for His church.

The OneCry Prayer Team has been established with the vision of networking these intercessors–church members who are seeking to walk consistently in the righteousness of Christ while humbly praying for themselves and others to experience the power of God in revival. Everyone who becomes a part of the OneCry Movement is expected to pray frequently (daily), faithfully, and fervently for revival and spiritual awakening. This team, however, will go beyond that commitment by praying specifically for churches and ministries other than their own to experience revival.

The Process

As churches and ministries make plans for revival or kingdom-advancing events, it is not unusual for members of those groups to begin crying out to God for a great moving of His Spirit in their midst. Upon their request, the OneCry Prayer Team will be available to join them in fervent intercession for their planned activity. Working under the authority of each church or ministry's leadership, members of the OneCry Prayer Team will pray strategically over all the prayer requests sent to them. They will also pray specifically for all the church leaders, members, and prospects whose names they receive.
