  • Why Now?

    Each day our faith is growing in how God can use this time at RR25 to hear from God and each other! Since last year, we've noted . . .

     

    • 60,000+ students gathered in UniteUS events on 11 college campuses in 2024.

    • There are up to 20 college campuses where every student has been prayed for by name.

    • Gather25 could be the largest 24-hour global prayer event in our lifetime.

      (CDOP and the simulcast are partners in the upcoming global prayer event immediately following the Revival Roundtable.)

    • The interest in solutions to the cultural discord and uncertainty is driving people to seek spiritual answers.

    • Tens of thousands of NextGen students have gathered at Passion and other events like it with heightened faith and anticipation, along with a prayer and revival focus.

    The Opportunity

    As those burdened for another Great Awakening in our nation, we have entered a year that follows the most spiritual activity among college students since the Jesus Movement. And it seems to be expanding.  It begs the following questions:

    ​

    • Is what we see on college campuses truly a precursor, or is it merely a short-lived phenomena?

    • Is there genuine fruit coming forth from this heightened spiritual activity on campuses?

    • How can we create contexts for similar stirrings in our own communities?

    • How can local churches partner with universities in their own backyard to foster a spirit of revival and spiritual awakening on college campuses?

    • What can we learn from revival movements of the past that are relevant and applicable today?

    What Can I Expect?

    • We want to make space for God to speak and move in our midst.

    • We want to build strategic relationships because the Kingdom advances through friendships.

    • We want to learn from each other through Spirit-led, Cross-generational dialogue.

    • We want to hear and learn from stories of significant movements since Asbury.

    • We want to learn about characteristics of movements of God and not just moments of God.
