What makes us follow people on Instagram?
The other day I caught myself following a profile after watching just one interesting post, and it made me wonder how often we all do that without thinking, sometimes it's a funny video, sometimes a useful tip, and sometimes it's simply because everyone else seems to be paying attention to that person, a few days later, though, I often can't remember what convinced me to hit the follow button in the first place, while going through my accounts, recently-followed and started reflecting on how quickly our online decisions are made, It feels like social media is built around small moments of curiosity that turn into long follow lists over time, looking back at those choices can be surprisingly interesting because they reveal what caught our attention at different points in our lives, do other people ever find themselves wondering what actually motivates them to follow someone online?

Tiny detail on my feed ended up stealing more attention than all the posts I scrolled past that day, I started noticing that the activity around certain accounts seemed to change almost overnight, which made me curious enough to look deeper, while checking recently-followed, I began comparing what I was seeing with previous days and realized how fast social connections can move in different directions, It wasn’t some major discovery, but it definitely changed the way I pay attention to the small signals hidden inside everyday Instagram browsing.
